Today we visited the home of Elvis Presley, Graceland.

This is the front of Graceland. It is not a huge house but it is set in 13 acres of land.

This was Elvis' favourite room and was nicknamed 'the Jungle Room'. It has green shag pile carpet on the floor, ceiling and some parts of the wall.

Elvis had his own custom private jet named 'Lisa Marie'. He used it to travel all over the USA to perform.

In the afternoon we visited Sun Studios the place where Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and B.B. King were all discovered and cut their first records. It was amazing to think that this small building had produced such huge music legends.

The famous Million Dollar Quartet was recorded in the Sun Studios building and a large picture of this was hung up inside. Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash were all together and recorded an impromptu jam session.
